Come along to CIDA’s 2nd Entrepreneurs – The Next Generation event and find out how! Organised by CIDA in partnership with Base N Rebels Entertainment, this event will feature guest speakers providing you with the perfect opportunity to hear some of the UK’s most talented creative entrepreneurs discuss their paths to success. The event will be followed by drinks and the chance to network.

What is CIDA?
CIDA, the Cultural Industries Development Agency, the centre of excellence for grassroots creative and cultural industries in London.
Since 1999, CIDA have supported thousands of creative individuals, businesses and arts organisations through a range of innovative projects, services and events.
CIDA is supported by London Borough of Tower Hamlets, London Borough of Newham, London Borough of Hackney, Arts Council England, Skills Funding Agency, London Development Agency, ESF, Capacity Builders and the Big Lottery Fund.

SBTV – Jamal Edwards (Founder, CEO)
West London resident, Jamal Edwards, is the twenty-year old man behind online broadcaster and independent production company SBTV Global Ltd (SB.TV). His YouTube channel (www.sbtv.co.uk) boasts over 21 million views, with 25,000 subscribers, and tens of thousands of online fans through facebook and twitter.
Eddie Kadi is a UK comedian, presenter, actor and MC.Has a bachelor of science degree in Media Technology from Kingston University. As a comedian he is renowned for his quick wit, clean comedy and unpredictable shows, Eddie Kadi’s awards include the BECA Award for Best Comedy Newcomer in 2006. He has sold out concerts at the Hammersmith Apollo, Hackney Empire and the IndigO2 (twice in 2009)

Whether she’s laying down the vocals on a club anthem, rapping over a Hip Hop beat, being the boss of her own clothing label or cutting deals with industry execs, Princess Nyah is an artist and a businesswoman who is destined for big things.
Scorcher is a grime MC and producer from North London. With a successful clothing line Skywalker selling out of t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies, and a video production company Staple House, which had directed promos for Wiley, Boy Better Know and Scorcher’s recent videos, he has got his entrepreneurial cap on as well.
